I was tasked with creating the brand for Pizza Boys—a TV series that follows Jez and Ieuz (plus their trusty van, Smokey Pete) as they hit the road in search of Europe’s tastiest dishes. The show’s energy is equal parts travel, food, and friendship—so the identity needed to feel bold, joyful, and ready for adventure.
The brand draws on playful typography, warm colour palettes, and visual nods to roadside diners and pizza box nostalgia. I created a suite of illustrated maps to chart the boys’ journey across Europe, using a hand-drawn style that captures the spontaneity of the series. These illustrations were used across social media, alongside content templates, promo graphics, and GIFs to keep the tone fun and food-forward. As a little in-joke (and homage to the French setting), I also designed a friendly snail mascot—just for fun, but he quickly became a fan favourite across social.
The result is a vibrant, personality-packed brand that mirrors the boys’ dynamic, the charm of Smokey Pete, and the chaotic joy of tracking down the perfect slice—one bite (and breakdown) at a time.
