Print Design

Helping asthma care feel less clinical—and more human.

I was tasked with developing a new print design language for PCRS (Primary Care Respiratory Society), building on the visual approach used in a series of animations developed for the #AsthmaMyths campaign. The goal was to translate the video style into a suite of printed materials that felt approachable, informative, and equally effective for both patients and healthcare professionals.

I adapted the brand’s colour scheme and introduced a brighter, more structured layout style—using clear sectioning, soft tones, and cheerful illustrations to keep things warm and welcoming. The visuals aimed to make respiratory care feel less clinical and more empowering, with a friendly tone that carried across everything from leaflets and articles to longer reports and interactive asthma action plans.

The materials were distributed to PCRS subscribers and displayed in GP surgeries, helping to support clear, consistent communication around asthma care. The client was thrilled with the outcome, and the project led to further commissions to expand the design system across more resources.
